Hazard, vehicle
Reported Thursday, 27 February 2025 at 1:18 pm, 144 Port Hills Road, Heathcote Valley, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
There’s a car that consistently parks less than a metre away from the entrance to Fredrica Lane. It is a danger for cars entering the lane, as there is no space to pull out of traffic. Another concern is lack of visibility for turning onto port hills road. Or meeting a fellow neighbour down the lane, and backing back is more difficult due to the car being in the way, and visibility impairment of port hills road. Yellow lines work well on the entrance to the maltworks village further up PHR.
