Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Monday, 3 March 2025 at 10:06 am, 34 Leitch Street, Somerfield, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This morning my preschool aged son was bumped on his bike by a car coming out of the driveway at 32a Leitch st. This was because the ivy hedge at 34 Leitch st is so overgrown, taking over the whole berm and encroaching on the footpath that you cannot see what is coming from the driveway until you’re on it. It is lucky he was not seriously hurt or worse. Please can something be done about this urgently. Lots of children use the footpath to get to school and preschool and it is really dangerous.
