Litter
Reported Thursday, 6 March 2025 at 7:50 pm, 12 Beachville Road, Redcliffs, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
As usual Beachville Road is a mess with litter left behind by the fishermen, see photos. The council need to schedule a weekly clean up if they continue to allow fishermen onto a neighbourhood street. It is also a health risk and dangerous, soiled debris and fish hooks are often left too. I'm still waiting for the council to pay my vet bill from when my dog ingested fish hooks. If the council allow fishermen here where people live and frequent, they need to take responsiblility for the hazards.
