The reporter’s words

The leaf vacuum came down Jacobs St yesterday but did not suck up these leaves which are blocking the exit drain in the gutter. This is despite the fact that there were no cars obstructing access. If it rains, the street will flood at this spot if these leaves are not removed. I can’t for the life of me understand why they were missed when the machine was in the street! Could the truck please return and remove these leaves.
