The reporter’s words

This is the third time I have asked for our park to be weeded. It’s been 6 months and all we got was a liberal application of weedkiller over half the plants a week ago so the park stinks and all those plants are now dead, including the ones actually planted there. Since the CCC took back the landscaping contract in mid 2024 this park has been abandoned and now looks like an overgrown lot. Before that it was well looked after. I’m happy to go to the Press if this third request doesn’t work.
