Reported Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 11:29 am, 8A Cobham Street, Spreydon, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The shared path (cycleway) around this property is very busy with many users. Bikes coming from Glynne Crescent around into Cobham Street and then Domain Terrace do a S bend and travel quite quickly. They come around the corner blind so don’t have much notice if we are coming out our pedestrian gate or driveway. We have had many close calls. We are currently removing trees for better visibility but wondered if something else could be done - ie a “reduce speed” sign for safety.
