Roads - General
Reported Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 1:02 pm, Main Road, Moncks Bay, Christchurch, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The traffic lights which were put in at Augusta Street Redcliff’s Main Road corner were put in for a supermarket which hasn’t been there for five years. This is creating a lot of traffic disruption. Could you please phase them differently as the main traffic coming from Sumner especially on a hot days and evenings from town gets held up by these traffic lights unnecessarily. Something needs to be done urgently as there are a lot of people inconvenienced for the odd person/car.
