Roads - General
Reported Tuesday, 8 April 2025 at 8:01 am, Canterbury, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
For area traffic engineer for safety improvements: Cars oftentimes park in front of the unmarked pedestrian crossing near The Runway / Auster Avenue. This is a frequent occurrence and legally unenforceable currently as it is not a real crossing. Can we please investigate getting some yellow lines painted either side of the crossing? There appears to be a community willingness to do so by the online engagement.
