The reporter’s words
On the Brougham/Selwyn st corner, on the eastern pedestrian island on Brougham st. There was an accident about a month ago that knocked out the centre traffic light and one of the fencing barriers for pedestrians. The traffic light pole has been replaced, but not the safety fencing. There was two fences, now there is one. Can we please have the second fence replaced? Our residents at Bishop Selwyn Village are reluctant to cross the road know that half the safety fencing has been taken away.
