Poles and Signage - General
Reported Wednesday, 16 April 2025 at 2:46 pm, 254 Papanui Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Could someone please explain why this traffic light on the St George’s corner of the Papanui Rd / Innes Rd intersection has been covered in blue plastic for about the last 6 months. It requires drivers turning right from Papanui Rd into Heaton St to look at the lights on their left hand side, as well as oncoming traffic on their right hand side, before they safely make a turn. This seems an unnecessary danger. Why is the light covered.
