Rubbish and Bins - General
Reported Wednesday, 23 April 2025 at 8:44 pm, 33 Studholme Street, Somerfield, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
My green bin has been damaged by rubbish contractors (suspect new operator who struggled to use the mechanical arm accurately). First the lid was broken off at the hinge, now from this Tuesday morning's collection, lid totally gone. I notice other neighbouring green bins also have been damaged and often tipped over and disarray. Please can I have a replacement. I am not prepared to pay for it out of my own pocket as i take good care of my bins and pay my rates on time. Thanks Fiona
