The reporter’s words

I have sent this report to Roadjng/Streets, but really, it’s about safety and disabled access. This is not the first time I have reported this shocking situation but to date, I’ve heard nothing back and nothing has changed. This is appalling. What I have to do to access the footpath is to park my car, then walk ON THE ROAD with cars and trucks whizzing by, to an area beyond the raised footpath to where I can safely get into the path. I walk with two sticks, so you can imagine how stressful it is to have to do this. The last time I reported this situation I had just had nearly been hit by a truck and was extremely shocked. I try to visit the local cafe in that shopping area - it’s not easy. I spoke to the two girls today - asking them about people’s access onto the footpath. They said people are falling onto the path regularly. If you wish to have collaboration, please speak to them!! The footpath NEEDS A CUT-THROUGH and a RAIL. I will not let this go. I have had two dreadful experiences with that ridiculous raised path, and I know many other people have too!
