Roads - General
Reported Saturday, 17 May 2025 at 1:14 pm, Summit Road, Canterbury Region 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Going along the summit road there are areas that have been resealed. This was around 3 months ago and now no signs are present. In these areas there has been a huge amount of stone chip left on the road and it has become very dangerous even at 30km although it's at 60km. This is especially to motorcycles and bikes where it is obvious they are having trouble on corners where they are hitting the stones. This needs and should have been swept before the signs were removed.
