The reporter’s words

This is a duplicate report. The original report was sent on Feb 12, 2019. I would have added Flooding to the incident heading if I could. I reported this water last year and a bubble up sump was put in. This has not solved the problem at all. It’s made no difference. These photos were taken yesterday (11th Feb) on a day of 30 degrees. We have had many days of 28/30 degrees, but it makes no difference to the water. It flows continuously and never ever dries. I have detailed knowledge of 441 Madras Street. I lived there, in my 1900 villa, for 25 years. I had an artesian well on my property and had I capped by a plumber. The house was demolished after the February earthquake and we sold the section. I still live close by. Next door, back section. The builders cleared the section with a scraper, and straight away we noticed water leaking out of 441 section. I believe they have tapped into the artesian well. I would like this investigated again. Water should not be flowing into our gutters, especially in the height of summer. I’m resending this as the water is still flowing across the footpath and into the gutter.
