Flooding
Reported Sunday, 17 March 2019 at 12:12 pm, 23, Te Ara Crescent, Diamond Harbour, 8971, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
For the fourth time please repair the broken gutter above my home that has mud running down my steps and entranceway! The roadside gutter is cracked and broken and water leaks under the road and reappears further downhill and several metres inside my boundary. It bubbles up next to my steps pouring mud down those steps and across the entrance to my house. The broken gutter is clearly obvious and sits at a lower level to the nearby storm water drain. I received a phone call after my 3rd request stating that someone was outside my home. Had I known someone was coming I would have ensured they were met. I’m not an expert on repairing gutters but by now am quite exasperated with the situation and would happily provide some advice on what to do.
