Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 21 March 2019 at 7:20 am, Papanui Road, Christchurch, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The road has been re-surfaced but the bike strip at the front of the lane hasn't been re-painted so cars go all the way up now and there's no room to lane split and go to the front and there's no hook turn on the other side so making a right turn from Papanui road onto Bealey on a bike is even worse and it's going to be really inconvenient when the whole intersection is closed to scrape a cyclist off the road please put our tiny and often ignored by motorists strip of bike area back
