The reporter’s words
Skid marks show cars speeding into and out of the roundabouts on Rothesay Road. I’m told I need to report incidents so that there is a “record”. This is needed for action to be taken. Traffic calming is needed here to ensure the safety of all road users especially pedestrians which often include the elderly from Burwood Hospital. Young children and their parents/caregivers accessing the preschool at the Putake/Rothesay roundabout also face challenges with speeding vehicles.
