Pavement - General
Reported Monday, 14 July 2025 at 12:25 am, Canterbury, Christchurch 8052, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A detour is in place off the shared path in Rutland Reserve. Detour is in place until the end of July. People are biking across the grass to enter or exit Kenwyn Avenue. This happens because the path curves toward the playground. Grass is very soft and starting to become muddy. Can something be done to support the desire path. Maybe a temporary mat on grass? Ideally in future there should be an asphalt path that curves toward Placemakers. A little planted area in the middle would look good
