Traffic Signals
Reported Monday, 21 July 2025 at 8:49 am, Emerson St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
It would be helpful to have a curved mirror at the southwest corner of the intersection between Emerson Street and Collins Street. Cyclists have a give way sign, but when coming from the northeast it is impossible to see vehicles coming due to the tall fence and other equipment at the intersection and the acute angle between the road and the bike path. A curved mirror could help cyclists and pedestrians see cars safely as they approach the intersection to avoid conflicts.
