The reporter’s words

Meadow View Drive playground slide is not fit for purpose or age appropriate. Children cannot climb from the rope ladder into the hut and on to the slide. The distance from the top rope rung to the floor of the hut is 60cm. This is far too large a gap for any child under 8 years old to manage. Please replace the rope ladder with an ordinary ladder that smaller children ( who would like to use the slide!) can actually manage.
