The reporter’s words
We have noticed lots of ?something bubbling up from two large pipes, into the Avon River, right next to the boat ramp and pontoons at Owles Tce last Sunday. This was the day Aoraki Dragon Boat Assoc had four Dragon boats (with about 80 people onboard) launching from there, and paddling out to the estuary. So it was very high tide, about 10.30 am. Could it be sewage?
