Facility - General Request
Reported Saturday, 30 August 2025 at 8:55 am, Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
People not obeying fishing rules at New Brighton pier. They are using multiple fishing lines per person, taking up the whole area and fishing in the non-fishing zone. They are also overhead casting and all of this is despite clear signage all around. It is stopping other users from enjoying the scenery
