Roads - General
Reported Sunday, 7 September 2025 at 9:51 pm, 164 Lyttelton Street, Spreydon, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Outside West Spreydon School, a yellow lined area exists which was not removed after earthquake rebuild relocation requirements. This was an area created to designate bus parking for student transport to temporary premises. Lines were repainted rather than removed after need had passed. They now create an issue as they are known to be able to be ignored, which also then happens to dotted yellow lines either side of crossing, creating a child safety hazard by school crossing. Please remove lines.
