Dumped Rubbish
Reported Saturday, 13 September 2025 at 4:37 pm, 146–254 Barters Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 7678, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Where Hasketts Rd meets Barters Rd along the boundary of Ruapuna Park & the Quarry, is the “paper” road section of Barters Rd. It is completely overrun with rubbish, from furniture, to household items, appliances and general waste. The grass is overgrown. Large mounds of dirt make it accessible for people to jump the fence into the Ruapuna property. This is of high concern with the large volume of people expected for the Supercars in April. This road could be utilised to help traffic management.
