Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Tuesday, 16 September 2025 at 2:55 pm, Canterbury, Diamond Harbour 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The cliff track has a stepped area through tree roots which is very difficult to step up or down due to its gradient and tree roots. There has been a small path created by walkers around this steep stepped area but it is overgrown by grass and has a steep drop off down the cliff. These two paths are a health and safety issue when walking two dogs on 1.5m leads as you need both hands to get down or up the steep stepped roots or navigate the overgrown path
