Hazard, vehicle
Reported Saturday, 20 September 2025 at 11:52 am, 5A Cottesmore Close, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I'd like to request the installation of yellow no-parking lines between 5 and 7 Cottesmore. The 6m space leaves only approximately 4m of legal parking under the NZ Road User Rules, which is insufficient for most vehicles. Cars often block driveway access, and when vehicles park on both sides AND in front, visibility is poor and safe turning is difficult. This creates a hazard for residents and road users. Please install yellow no-parking lines to prevent obstruction and improve safety. Thank you
