Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 1 May 2019 at 4:43 pm, Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch, 8011, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
There is a problem with the cycle crossing signal from Hagley Park to the cycleway down Grove Road. Twice today I had to wait through 2 full cycles of the lights ( quite a long wait) as it didn’t trigger when I arrived at the crossing. I make sure to cycle over the sensors in the pavement on approach and push the button as well. The signal is lit up with the red cycle symbol but doesn’t change to green, which is usually after the east-bound traffic from Lincoln Road goes into Moorhouse Ave. Very frustrating.
