Park - General Request

The reporter’s words
We live at 5 Campion Pl and over the last five years have been gradually beautifying the area of park outside our back fence. We have planted several shrubs, a kowhai tree, a number of ferns, and a quantity of flowers. We also mow the area. Sometime in the last week the area we have been working on was sprayed and all the ferns and flowers have been killed. There was absolutely no reason to spray here, as this was obviously a cared for area. The kowhai has also been badly affected. Why spray????
