General Request
Reported Friday, 3 October 2025 at 7:10 pm, 23 Velsheda Street, Bexley, Christchurch 8061, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The Bexley RedZone/Wetlands Grove area is starting to look like a shantytown. I've noticed there are now several portaloos in this area, I assume put in place for the occupants to use. This is preferable to them all using the surrounding area as their own personal toilet but I was wondering if someone could tell me who is paying for these facilities? Is it the homeless paying for them? Is it a community group initiative? Is it rate payer money?
