Park - General Request
Reported Friday, 10 October 2025 at 9:44 am, 124 Kennedys Bush Road, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Local horses have been walked in areas if the Quarry Park. They have been walked along mown walking strips while the ground is water logged resulting in deep hoofprints. These holes are large enough for a human foot and have become hazardous as the grass is growing over the holes making them impossible to see. I stepped in one and twisted my ankle, not badly, but enough to realiise that other, less agile people could be badly injured.
