The reporter’s words
Years ago after making repairs to the pipes outside our property the asphalt was laid very badly and the grass/weeds have been growing up through it. The council have sprayed the weeds but the damage is already done, the pavement is crumbling and raised and it continues to get worse. It is now a trip hazard for people with mobility issues. There is an elderly person who lives up the street recovering after a stroke and they have trouble walking on this pavement. It needs to be repaired properly.
