The reporter’s words
I wanted to find out about the rules for construction noise in residential areas. We have work going in next door at 7 cooke St. Over several of the last few Sundays they continue noisy work, diggers, earthworks and concrete cutting. They also start up with loud music as early as 5:3am which is not pleasant. The CCC site says loud construction is not permitted on weekends. Do they have special conditions on the resource consent to permit this?
