Facility - General Request
Reported Monday, 13 October 2025 at 4:47 pm, 126 Beachville Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Redcliffs jetty had its third step from the bottom damaged by wave action during the NW gale on Sunday 12 October. I have temporarily nailed the loose planks back down, the missing plank retrieved from the sea is on my deck at 124 Beachville Road. It is likely that all the planks that are daily submerged have corroded fixings that need replacing or augmenting. The jetty is currently undergoing maintenance.
