Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Saturday, 25 October 2025 at 2:55 pm, 65 Marine Dr, Canterbury, Diamond Harbour 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Access track from Marine Drive to lower Sam’s Gully Diamond Harbour. Track is overgrown and steps down the gully are not in a good state of repair, some needing replacing and some need digging out. Grass overgrown and tree branches hanging low. Walking two dogs on 1.5m leashes whilst trying to navigate the overgrown path with unsafe steps is a health and safety issue. Matter of time before someone falls because you cannot see the path whilst walking the dogs on leashes.
