Trees - General
Reported Friday, 7 November 2025 at 12:24 pm, 36 Cobra St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This lovely street tree has basic died quite suddenly in the last few weeks. It might have been poisoned or something happening under the surface as the footpath is damaged and quite uneven. I’m concerned if it’s a disease other trees might die. Or a big wind could topple it. It is concerning that this happened so rapidly. I would love someone to check it please and find the cause in case it’s water or sewage pipes involved.
