Rubbish and Bins - General
Reported Saturday, 8 November 2025 at 12:08 pm, 115 Petrie St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
There are currently no rubbish bins in Petrie Park, including around the playground where families and children play. This creates multiple hygiene and safety issues - there’s nowhere to dispose of dog waste, nappies, or general litter, which encourages people to leave rubbish behind. Today I even found discarded porn magazines near the playground, which highlights the urgent need for proper waste disposal options. Please install several bins as soon as possible.
