Rubbish/Recycling
Reported Saturday, 1 June 2019 at 6:30 pm, Fifield Terrace, Saint Martins, 8023, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
This rubbish bin needs to be relocated above the flood line, or removed altogether. As you can see from the photograph when the Heathcote river floods the rubbish bin is completely covered with water and all the rubbish flows out to the sea. We emptied this rubbish bin today before the rubbish floated off to the ocean and found that most of the rubbish was actually dog poo in plastic bags.
