Park - General Request
Reported Friday, 21 November 2025 at 2:33 pm, 128 Esplanade, Canterbury, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The seat on the landward side of the wall is used primarily by surfers as a short cut to the path to the beach. The seat is never used for sitting. There is another new seat on the seaward side which is also used by surfers as part of this manoeuvre. The infrastructure needs to be changed to suit its primary use.
