The reporter’s words

Some of us find it very intrusive having helicopters(and the other extremely noisy and polluting aircraft at other times) flying over on our Sunday morning. Why does a small number of people have this right? Why do we have a flight area directly over the Southshore area? Would the Canterbury Aero Club members, chch helicopters and others be OK with this constant noise and polluting over their houses? I am very confused that this is an allowed activity - in this area, on a Sunday morning.
