The reporter’s words

There is a large stormwater gully located off Jahan Lane with several huge gum trees at the top. The trees loom over the area and increasingly the gully is prone to slips. I am concerned that the trees are unsafe and also that their scale has become inappropriate for the area. I discussed this with some recent Delta workers who were weed spraying in the area and they understood my concerns. The pictures attached show a recent slip. The scale of the trees is also such that they shade many of the homes on the lower side of the hill for many hours during winter. I would appreciate an arborist’s view as to whether iit is possible to have the trees reduced or removed if they are unsafe.
