Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Saturday, 6 December 2025 at 5:06 pm, 8A Woodlau Rise, Huntsbury, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi, there is overgrown vegetation on what we believe to be council owned land next to our driveway. Our visibility when exiting our driveway has been severely reduced and we only see cars coming downhill at 50kmh when they're about 5m away. It's a safety hazard that we would like to be resolved ASAP. Firstly we'd need to confirm whether the land is council owned. If it's council owned it would either need to be trimmed down to about 30cm high, or replaced with low growing plants. Thank you, Mike
