Animal - Domestic
Reported Saturday, 6 December 2025 at 5:24 pm, 52A Charlesworth Street, Woolston, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A guy walks his cat (no leash) in Charlesworth reserve most evenings. Dogs need to be on leash due to wildlife; a cat could be very destructive. The guy said he or his mate always walk the cat in there, but they try to go a "bit later" so they don't encounter too many dogs. cat was black, slim, smallish, green eyes. When my dog ran at the cat it just ran into the undergrowth. There could have been all kinds of birds nesting in there. He was white, tall, light hair (longish) ~30 hippie clothes.
