The reporter’s words
My youngest child was close to being hit by a speeding car while visiting my parents' house. The speed limit here is 30km/hr and they were going substantially faster, I'd estimate close to 100km/hr. I am aware my parents have complained about this previously and asked for speed bumps to be placed down the street, and they were told its unnecessary. After seeing this for myself, somebody is going to be killed on this street unless the council acts. 3 or 4 speed bumps is all that would be needed.
