Roads - General
Reported Thursday, 15 January 2026 at 7:13 pm, Pound Road, Templeton, Christchurch 7676, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I am concerned about the safety of making a right hand turn from Pound Road into Templeton Golf Course. There is very little room for other traffic to pass on the left of a stationary car waiting to make a turn. The traffic in both directions travels very fast and the potential for a tragic accident is huge. Is this road a CCC responsibility? Or NZSTA? If CCC could I have traffic count data for week days. Please advise, who should be approached regarding approached regarding making the turn safer
