Trees - General
Reported Friday, 16 January 2026 at 7:02 pm, Canterbury, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A fairly large branch of a pear tree fell down yesterday in the rain, I see today that it’s in a very precarious position. The heavy end has come right away from the trunk and is leaning on branches.
