Trees - General
Reported Sunday, 18 January 2026 at 4:13 pm, 83 Rugby St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Can council please replant the trees that died along this stretch of berm please. They were here for over 40 + years and at no time affected utilities/infrastructure. This is supposed to be a garden city. My neighbours Nora Moore and Michael B also want them replanted please. If we had known you were not going to plant new ones we would have kept the old dying ones! I hope you will please help us. Trees are the lungs of the planet and so many are cutting them down.
