Roading/Streets
Reported Tuesday, 16 July 2019 at 7:14 pm, 9, Main Road, Governors Bay, 8971, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
I would like to encourage others to contact the thus far unresponsive city Chch Council who continue to place drivers at unnecessary risk by not clearing roaring gutters on dyers pass road. Most recent effort seems to have been trim trees and leave debri in gutter to make below issue worse. Resending as no action in over a month despite considerable unnecessary risk to life. Gutter / road verge cluttered with rock and earth on dyers pass road from governors bay to sign of kiwi meaning water is not draining but rather running across road creating an icy surface when frosts. Easily avoidable risk of accidents which I emailed about a month ago. I have spoken to other residents who confirm numerous seperate notifications of this issue over the last month without any apparent action. Given above I request a phone call or email to confirm something is done about this issue which will potentially risk lives. I would suggest anyone who has an accident as a result of continued in attention to this issue would have a claim against CCC.
