The reporter’s words
As a heavy diesel truck driver, Princess St is a main route to and from Kiwirail on Matipo St. If we are sitting at Princess St/Whiteleigh Ave intersection, waiting to turn right on to Whiteleigh Ave, we struggle to see if traffic is coming from our right as the trees hang so low, then we have to creep out into the intersection to get a better view. We do sit quite high in our trucks. It would be great if we could get some of the bottom branches cut back please.
