Hazard, vehicle
Reported Tuesday, 27 January 2026 at 11:14 am, 22 Chatham St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
During the Ed Sheeran concert on Sunday 25th Jan, this car (rego PNZ43) was parked illegally over the footpath on Chatham St, Addington. Not even in a designated parking spot and ignoring traffic management signs stating no parking from 10am-11:59pm. They need to be fined for parking illegally. I tried raising the issue at the time by calling the council but was told that you don’t employ parking wardens on the weekends which is quite frankly, stupid. Especially during large events.
