The reporter’s words
This area behind Cooks Lane is getting worse. The hone owner has made an access gate across the reserve and it's ruining the surface. He is still using it despite the recent heavy rain as numerous tyre marks show and the surface is now severely degraded. It is a mystery as to why this homeowner has been allowed to use the reserve as a driveway. The tyre marks extend through the reserve to Cooks Lane. If this continues into winter it will become a quagmire, it was very slippery today.
